Stillman Valley Football starts Friday. Here’s the first of a new series: “Monday Morning Football”. During the season I am going to hold back from Facebook a favorite picture or two for my site on Monday morning. Today’s pictures are from previous years.
Joy is only as big as what you’re part of. The person who plays for himself will never know the joy of the person who plays for a community who is behind him. The joy of the individual is a confined place. But the joy of “we” is unlimited.
Going into a game, together we feel like the little guy at the bottom of the page.
There’s just nothing quite like the community feel of a football game. I look forward to your wonderful pictures, and to your words of wisdom on Monday mornings!
There is something to be said of something within a community that brings all different social classes, ethnicity, and religious backgrounds together cheering for a single cause…Stillman football.
