4 Out of 10 Babies Born to Unwed Mothers
sadly, my daughter is unwed and just gave birth to our first grandchild. Though she is a follower of Christ (as am I), it is heartbreaking and devasting. Please, please pray for my daughter as well as our country.
I do pray for your daughter. I am thankful that you have a gift of a baby in your family — circumstances notwithstanding. I pray that the baby will grow up and follow Christ and bring you great joy.

Hey Chris…Sad state of affairs. I’m thinking that our culture today does not understand that the blessings of a relationship come AFTER a commitment to the relationship. In the case of sex, the biblical order requires a life-long covenant in marriage as the precondition. That’s why, for instance, there was such a negative stigma tied pregnancy before marriage and required some kind of official divorce proceedings (cf., Mt. 1:18-19).
I wonder, how might the church chime in here ala Mike Wittmer’s comments here?
