The Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA) has published a statement on homosexuality and same-sex “marriage.” I have only scanned the document but it appears to be gracious and biblical. It includes a very helpful bibliography.
You can access the document here.

I found this statement on the Southern Baptist Convention website…We affirm God’s plan for marriage and sexual intimacy – one man, and one woman, for life. Homosexuality is not a “valid alternative lifestyle.” The Bible condemns it as sin. It is not, however, unforgivable sin. The same redemption available to all sinners is available to homosexuals. They, too, may become new creations in Christ.
It seems more clear and less “sugar coated” than the EFCA statement, but to deal with the rise in homosexuality, I guess the less judgemental we can be, the better. Remember when divorce was a “huge sin” in the church? Now, divorce is just as common among Christians as it is among non-Christians. Will homosexuality end up the same way?
