Thanks for this, Chris. You hit the nail on the head: “Life is about making decisions.” And decisions are not rendered in a vacuum; they’re born out of a set of values that shape and mold, inspire and motivate our lives. Decisions move us to action and values are the rails upon which our lives run. If our values are not soaked in the truths of heaven as found in Scripture, then our decisions simply cannot and will not experince the joy of the abudant life Jesus died for. When, on the other hand, our hearts are moved to action by God’s counsel, there’s no finer experience this side of heaven. None!
