This is a really cute town. We will have to stop there sometime on our way to NE.
It’s great to see there are still buildings in Keosauqua, unlike Milton, Iowa. It’s been a few years since we last visited Milton, a dying town. Now we hear they’re tearing all the buildings down in the one-block-only business section and this is after demolishing a nice brick school which is one of the few landmarks that could’ve been preserved. Kinda sad for those of us with so many good memories visiting relatives while growing up. Can’t imagine how the people feel who still live there!
Hmmm
If you get rid of the light posts I could see Clint Eastwood riding through here.
If I knew more about my web site then I would have the theme from, “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly,” playing in the background.
Looks like my kind of town…just ride in and hitch the horses to a pole!!
