I received word this morning that Dr. Russ Ebersole is being flown out of Africa today because of significant health problems. He has been very ill for a couple of weeks and it is now necessary to bring him to the U.S. as soon as possible.
Dr. Ebersole is a pediatrician in Togo, West Africa. I cannot begin to describe the difference that he makes in saving lives and sharing the Gospel.
In the above picture Dr. Ebersole interacts with a Togolese child whose arm could no longer have movement due to scarring from a burn. Shortly after this picture, the little boy went into plastic surgery to have this corrected.

not knowing Dr Ebersole the burden was not REALLY there—-I clicked on to a picture of you, Chris, and the children and their beautiful faces——Then I saw faces that might not have been in the picture had not Dr Ebersole given his life to the Lord to serve wherever he was called. Then the burden became real to pray for this servant of the Lord—first give thanks for the work that has been accomplished in his life—-Now Father –may he feel your presence and direction in his life at this time. Thank you for bringing this to our attention—What a GREAT GOD we have —sitting here it is so easy to not comprehend the WONDERFUL GRACE OF JESUS as He raises up workers.
You can count on Steve and I for prayers for Dr. Ebersole. How could we not!
