Wow…these are powerful words from John Piper. I’m working my way through Neil Postman’s Amusing Ourselves to Death and, in addition to Piper’s admonitions here, both make a strong case for spending my evenings beholding “the glory of the Lord” rather than the thin story-lines (if even there are any) of programmed TV.
