All of Scripture is from God. But, there are some passages in the Bible that are special summaries. These chapters and verses are jewels that adorn the Bible. Extra meditation on passages like John 1, John 14, Psalm 23, Romans 8, or Matthew 5-7 is a great investment.
Another example is Titus 2:11-14. Writing to another leader in the church, Paul reminds Titus of these words,
“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works (Titus 2:11-14).”
Spend time breaking Titus 2:11-14 down. God’s gracious gift of salvation is available to all people. Regardless of where you have been, there is hope. Not only does God’s grace save us from condemnation, but it continues to tutor us and show us how to live – – the Holy Spirit graciously works in the life of the believer. This all takes place while we wait for the return of Jesus who is redeeming for Himself a people that are His very own, on fire to do what is good.
