I haven’t pulled the trigger on Amazon’s Kindle yet. But, articles like this one in the Chicago Tribune (click here) have me thinking increasingly about Amazon’s electronic reader, as does Tim Challies (click here). For one thing, it would save massive shelf space.
I think if I traveled more that I would be a few steps further in thinking about it. If you have a Kindle, I’d love to hear what you think about it.

Call me old fashioned, but I like to hold my books, and reading from a screen makes my eyes tired… besides… if I drop my book in the bathtub, it will still “work”… I’m sticking with books.
Plus, you can’t give the Kindle to anyone else.
I’ve heard maybe the screen thing is okay.
But, I doubt that it would do well in the bathtub.
I don’t think I’ve take a bath since the Ford administration, opting rather for a shower to discover the joys of hygiene.

calgon… take me away…
You owe it to yourself to watch the Wide World of Sports You-Tube post that I put up today.
I will do that. I was just reading the Jim McKay post. I clearly remember watching WWoS with you… and I’m pretty sure we always cringed and/or commented when that poor guy took his tumble.
That was back when one could only watch cartoons on Saturday morning. My students can’t comprehend that concept… or the test pattern.
