So I guess Cade did use the word appropriately, then, when he left a phone message a few days ago and accidentally closed with, “Amen”. To be sure, he wanted his friend to come over!
I think it’s been a while since any of us really thought about what ‘amen’ means–or that God has surely heard what we just requested. Good reminder.
