I am currently working full-time and struggling to fit in seminary, so what Darrin said about work was really helpful. Working in a job that your not overly passionate about is tough, but it’s good to know that I am not defined by my job, and in the long run, it’s temporary. But while I work this job, I can still make a difference for the kingdom and find ways to use my passions.
Tyler, I think you are right. And you will be a better pastor in the long run. Because it is tempting to be defined by pastoral ministry – – it feels sort of pious.But that will quickly lead to burnout. Thanks for interacting.

They did interview me. But I don’t think it’s up yet . . . at least, I haven’t seen it.
